About water temperatures
SMHI Hydroobs — official water measurement
Water temperature is measured by SMHI at selected coastal and lake beaches. The measuring stations report daily, mainly during the bathing season (May-September). A comfortable bathing temperature is usually considered 18°C or warmer; warm water is 22°C+. Note that local variations can be large — a shallow bay can be several degrees warmer than open water.
